The Q&A Archives: Watering Roses

Question: How often do you water roses?
They were planted about 2-3 months ago
Temperature here is now about 110 degrees

Answer: Roses like to be watered deeply once or twice a week, depending upon size and weather. Water throughly, then wait 3-4 days and dig down into the soil. If it is still moist 2-3 inches below the surface, you won't need to water. If it is dry, it is time to water again.

Best wishes with your roses!
