Question: How can I stop sprouts from develop at the crown of the root of my Crape Myrtle?

Answer: The sprouts that develop at the base of the trunk can be pulled off while they are still small and flexible. Sometimes they are stimulated by excessive pruning of the branches, so take care that you are pruning your tree correctly.
