Stake or not to stake - Knowledgebase Question

I have 3 Hibiscus syriacus (Blue Satin) that are approx.2' tall.Should I stake them,due to heavy winds, at times?

Staking isn't necessary, but you can if you want. The normal action of wind prompts the roots to strengthen themselves against heavier winds. If you water deeply to encourage deep rooting, your hibiscus should remain upright on thick, sturdy stems and well established root systems.
