Meyer is the choice of experts in the transitional zone of the U.S. Zoysia has the most wear tolerance of all the currently available Turfgrass species in the United States and has very good heat and drought hardiness. Its Nitrogen requirements are fairly low and its quite tolerant to shaded environments.
