Meyer Z-52 Zoysia is a medium green color, medium texture, has a slow growth rate, creating a dense sod and tolerates winters in the Midwest, making it the most cold hardy of all warm season turf grasses. Meyer is the choice of experts in the transitional zone of the U.S. Zoysia has the most wear tolerance of all the currently available Turfgrass species in the United States and has very good heat and drought hardiness. Its Nitrogen requirements are fairly low and its quite tolerant to shaded environments.

Adaptive in USDA Plant Hardiness Zones 6-11 (you're in zone 9 or 10)
