I have many large leaves growing on my broccoli and cauliflower plants. Should I trim them or leave them?

You'll want to leave the leaves alone. They are responsible for converting the sun's energy into carbohydrates for the roots of the plants. As long as you have lots of leaves, the roots will store lots of energy. When it's time for the plants to manufacture broccoli stalks or cauliflower heads, they will draw on the stored energy and produce larger harvests for you. Enjoy!
