| I have a nice area roughly 15 feet by 15 feet, that I have been trying to plant flowers in. The area is in a very sunny location, it receives about 8-9 hours of direct hot sunlight everyday, with very little rain. What are some good plants to place in this spot? | Look for rock garden plants...they love hot, dry locations: Armeria maritima (thrift), Achillea tomentosa, Anemone pulsatilla (Pasqueflower), Antennaria dioica (pussytoes), Arabis (rockcress), Sempervivum, Sedum, Phlox, Iris, Iberis sempervirens, Campanula, and Dianthus for starters! |
