I have a nice area roughly 15 feet by 15 feet, that I have been trying to plant flowers in. The area is in a very sunny location, it receives about 8-9 hours of direct hot sunlight everyday, with very little rain. What are some good plants to place in this spot? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Chantele

Look for rock garden plants...they love hot, dry locations: Armeria maritima (thrift), Achillea tomentosa, Anemone pulsatilla (Pasqueflower), Antennaria dioica (pussytoes), Arabis (rockcress), Sempervivum, Sedum, Phlox, Iris, Iberis sempervirens, Campanula, and Dianthus for starters!
