I recetnly purchased a Blueray Blueberry plant (Vaccinium blueray) from the Kitty Hawk store. I'd like to know if it's first or second year growth. None of the info that came with the plant identifies its age. I'm trying to determine if it's best to prune it now or let it go since it is doing very well. thank you for your assistance.

The easy answer to this is that new plants usually do not need pruning for the first few years while they are becoming established. By then, you will know exactly what is the oldest and newest growth. Enjoy your blueberries!
