when to plant seeds - Knowledgebase Question

my gerber daisy just seeded out . should i go ahead and plant them or do they need to rest until next year. do they need to be kept in the frig. or in a cool dry place?

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

You can try to plant them in a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade. They like a soil with lots of organic matter that is moist but not too soggy wet or they'll rot. Fertilize them with a soluble plant food such as Miracle Gro at the low constant feed label rate.
