when is the best time to plant columbine seeds in the deep south?

Khalilah,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

Plant those columbine seeds in October. They will sprout in the fall and grow through winter to bloom in the spring.
