I'm looking for a fast growing tree for privacy to line my fence in the backyard. My fence is 6'
and wooden. The way my yard is slanted, my neighbors consitently watch our every move! I live in Goose Creek, SC. Thanks!

If it's privacy you want, evergreen trees are probably the best bet. Loquat is fast growing and reaches 20-40' in height; Magnolia, Sweetbay and waxmyrtle are other choices. Deciduous trees include Sourwood, crape myrtle, and eastern redbud.

Best wishes with your new trees.
