How soon will we get grapes on our new concord vines?

It will probably take about three years for new vines to begin producing fruit. Grape vines should be pruned annually and trained to a trellis or wire for best production.

Grapes should be harvested only when ripe. They will keep well on the vine if not picked immediately. Beware of hungry bees which may be lunching on the inside of a grape. One good indication of ripe fruit is a browning of the stem of the bunch.
