The Q&A Archives: Pompas Grass

Question: I cut my pompas grass down to one foot last fall like instructed and it has never come back. What did I do wrong?

Answer: Pampas grass is usually cut down in late winter or early spring, when new growth appears. Your plant may just be slow in sprouting due to weather. Pampas grass likes it hot!
