My yard is filled with rocks, big ones small ones, you name it. I would like a recommendation of what equipment to use to get rid of them and can I rent it there at the home depot? I have a rear tine tiller but that is not strong enough.

Not all rocks need to be removed to grow a healthy, happy lawn. You can rent a bobcat at a local hardware/landscape store (not at Home Depot) and grade the area level (thereby removing some rocks) and use it to spread top soil to give you 5-6" of good, level area in which to plant your lawn.
