This Tuesday I put the step 2 fertilizer on my grass and today there are a lot of yellow spots on the lawn area. Does it mean the grass are burned by the fertilizer? If it is, how do I need to do to reduce the effect. Thanks.

If you over-applied the fertilizer, it could burn the lawn. Burning is normally brown, not yellow, though so I'm not sure what is going on with your lawn. Perhaps there are weedy grasses that were affected by the Step 2? In any event, you can flush much of the excess fertilizer off the lawn with lots of water. Hope this helps!
