The Q&A Archives: reblooming irises

Question: After they bloom in the spring, am I supposed to cut back the stems for them to rebloom in the summer?

Answer: Yes, cut the flower stem down to foliage level; a new flowering stem will emerge later this summer.

Best wishes with your irises!
