I purchased a Black Knight Butterfly Bush from Home Depot and some of the colored flowers are dead. They said it will bloom all summer. Do I cut off the dead flowers or let them drop off? What do I do to start the new flower growth?

Deadheading the spent blooms can prolong the blooming of your butterfly bush. It also makes it look more attractive. When you prune off spent flowers, seed production stops and the plant redirects its energy into producing more flowers.
