i do not see any information about orange trees, choosing planting, soil, caring. it listed all others but not that one. i have 3 of them still young and here in florida it is most common to have. i would like the best advice as to care and feed, plus for them to grow plenty of oranges. |
Edgar, I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up! In general orange trees need full sun, well drained soil, moderate soil moisture and moderate feeding with a complete fertilizer product in spring and early summer. The following web pages offer a lot of great info on growing oranges and other citrus in your Florida landscape: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/TOPIC... http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/TOPIC... Thanks for the question. Best wishes for a wonderful gardening season. Please stop in again soon! |
