Your plants need all the leaves they produce, so don't cut them off. Leaves are responsible for photosynthesis (converting the sun's energy into carbohydrates for the plant). Removing leaves will compromise the plant's ability to produce fruits. Yellowish spots can be a result of insect feeding or the sun magnifying water droplets, or even a fungal disease. You might want to investigate further before applying any treatment tactics.
