I just love my new everlasting summer hydrangea.I planted it around mothers day and it has continued to bloom ever since. Should I go ahead and deadhead old blooms or leave them on the plant?

You may deadhead it as the flowers fade to encourage additional blooming through the summer, yes. In the fall you should stop deadheading so that the plant will begin to adjust for the coming winter. The flowers are ornamental on the plant during fall and winter as well. Enjoy your hydrangea!
