Hi! I'm looking for some suggestions on houseplants to keep in my office, that has a lot of fluorescent light, but no windows. Any help will be greatly appreciated! |
The following plants will tolerate low light levels and thrive in moderate light. They are also generally easy to grow and will handle the typical office conditions. One hint with office plants is to make sure only one person is responsible for watering them, otherwise they may end up being overwatered by well meaning office mates. Hedera helix (English ivy), Spathiphyllum (peace lily), Sansevieria (snake plant), Pothos, Philodedron, Chamaedorea elegans 'bella' (Neanthe bella palm), Howeia forsteriana (kentia palm), Aspidistra, Dracaena fragrans massangeana (corn plant), Dracaena marginata (Dragon tree), and Dracaena deremensis 'Janet Craig' (Janet Craig dracaena), Aglaonemas (Chinese evergreen), and Syngonium podophyllum (Arrowhead vine). Enjoy your plants! |
