My marathon grass has crab grass crawling all through it. How can I get rid of the crab grass. I tried using a crab grass killer from Ortho but it did not work.

It could have been the timing of your spray, or the weather when you applied it. The following products are registered for crabgrass control in Marathon lawns:
Acme
Crabgrass & Nutgrass Killer
(MSMA)
Grassy Weeds, including; Crabgrass, Dallisgrass, Goosegrass, Johnsongrass, Nutsedge, Witchgrass

Green Light
Crabgrass Killer
(MSMA)
Grassy Weeds, including; Crabgrass, Dallisgrass, Goosegrass, Johnsongrass, Nutsedge, Witchgrass

Monterey
Weed Hoe
(MSMA)
Grassy Weeds, including; Crabgrass, Dallisgrass, Goosegrass, Johnsongrass, Nutsedge, Witchgrass

Monterey
Turflon Ester
(Triclopyr)
Grassy and Broadleaf Weeds, including; Bermudagrass and annual and perennial weeds

Acme
Trimec Plus
(Trimec and MSMA)
Grassy and Broadleaf Weeds, Including; Crabgrass, Yellow Nutsedge, Dallisgrass, Dandelion, Ground Ivy, Clover

You'll want to apply a pre-emergent herbicide on your lawn early next spring to get a jump start on stopping any crabgrass seeds from sprouting in your lawn next summer.

Best wishes with your lawn!
