How do I keep rabbits from eating my shrubs?

Rabbits can quickly ruin shrubs by eating through the bark,especially during the winter. The best defense would be to fence them out away from your shrubs, either by using a perimeter fence or by protecting each individual plant. You might also have success using the spray on repellents labeled for rabbits, be sure to read and follow all of the directions for application and reapplication for best results.
