| Is it ok to use mulch that has been sitting open/uncovered for over a year. I have mulch that has been in my garage sitting in a plastic bag, but havent gotten around to use it in my veggie garden. Is it ok to use as long as it wasn't exposed to the outside elements? |
| Your mulch should be okay to use. Mulch material will decompose when exposed to the elements. The fact that yours has been protected for a year has helped preserve it, but it shouldn't harm it in any way. Go ahead and use it in your garden. |
