I have a neighbor who wants a bunch of Tiger Lillies removed from his yard. I am willing to take them and even have a place preped for them , but they are still in bloom , and I am unsure if I will lose them if I move them now. The neighbor wants them gone ASAP so I don't know what to do !! Please Help, I live in Mid-Michigan and it is a little hot here right now !

You can move them now, but expect the blooms to die sooner than if you'd left the plants alone. As long as you leave the foliage and stem intact, it will provide energy for the bulbs and they will become re-established this summer. As long as the move isn't too tramatic they should bloom right on schedule next year.

Best wishes with your new lilies!
