Well, she's not really a pest, but my puppy is reeking havoc on the new plants I have put in. I am looking for cages or fencing that would be appropriate. I have tomato cages (flat) with chicken wire around them and she just knocks them down. I understand it is hard to plant new gardens with a puppy, but maybe Home Depot has some type of fencing that would help. I will also come in and look, as I have looked on the website and did not find anything suitable.

Thanks.

You might try a temporary fencing around the garden using metal tee style fence post stakes and wire mesh barnyard style fencing which is sold by the roll. You could also try working patiently with the puppy to show her where it is okay to dig and play and where she should not. When my dog was a puppy she liked the excitement and active reaction she could get out of me by bothering my plants -- it was a super fun game for her to be able to make me run over and make a fuss. Once I realized that, and found other "more fun" ways to play, the garden became less attractive. I hope this helps!
