The Q&A Archives: Propogate Honeysuckle

Question: How do you proprogate well established yellow, very sweet smelling honeysuckle vine?

Answer: Lonicera of all types is easily propagated by tip cutting or by layering. Here are directions on how to do both. You may need to cut and paste the complete url into your browser to make it work correctly.

Before you propagate this, however, you may want to check with your local Cornell county extension to make sure it is not the invasive exotic honeysuckle, Lonicera japonica.
