Round-Up is a nonselective herbicide which kills all vegetation. Unfortunately, there is no quick fix. You will need to rake out the dead grass and roots and then you will need to reseed the dead patches. Since it is now summer and the weather is not all that amenable to starting seeds, you will probably need to wait until early September to reseed your lawn. Sorry you had such a bad experience, but now you know it pays to read the label thoroughly before applying anything to your lawn.
