i have nothing in my backyard and i`m planning to have concrete in some areas so what is the way to do that tkx

I think the first step is to rough draw a design so you know where you want the concrete and where you'd like some flower or veggie beds. Measure the backyard and transfer those measurements to paper. Once you have an idea of what you'd like where, you can begin to visit garden centers and make note of plants that appeal to you. Be sure to list plants for both sunny and shady sites (most yards have both). After you've had the concrete work done you can begin to work the soil for your planting beds. Amend the beds with organic mulch to loosen the soil then start planting.
