When the flowers fade, cut off the flowering stem and most plants will produce a second group of flowering pokers. Yellowing leaves around the perimeter of the plant are not unusual. These are the oldest leaves and are dying off in favor of the plant developing healthy new leaves in the center of the plant. Cut away the yellowed leaves and I think you'll find healthy green ones in the center of the plant; cut off the spent blooms and your plant may reward you with new flower spikes. Hope so!
