Salt Water - Knowledgebase Question

I live on the Gulf Coast and I have no idea what will grow at this elevation. We can flood at any time and plants with long roots seem to die. I tried Citrus trees and they died. Help!

I apologize for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

I am not sure I can tell what the growing situation is that you are describing. You may need to build raised planting beds for better drainage. The following web site offers suggestions for plants to use in Texas coastal areas.
