What kind of fertilizer is best for roses?

You can use just about any fertilizer designated for roses that you want. I like the brand "Once" for roses. As the name implies, you only apply it once a season. When choosing a fertilizer look carefully at the analysis (those 3 numbers you see on fertilizers). You are looking for the second number and the third number to be higher than the first number, i.e., 5-20-20. I also like to give my roses a drink of manure tea in the spring.
