I have a very shady lawn with practically no grass. The soil is sandy. Can you give me some ideas on the correct grass/grass seed to use?
Thanks, Judy

Judy,

In shade your best grass choice is St. Augustine. You may need to remove some tree branches to brighten the shade and improve the grass's chance of making it. If the area is too shady for St. Augustine you may want to consider a shade loving groundcover.
