We just salvaged some Iris plants from the family property in Northern Kansas and want to plant them here in New Braunfels. How do we prepare them and where and when can we put them in the ground?

Wayne,

Work an inch of compost into the soil as you space or rototill the bed area. Provide morning sun to full day sun and go ahead and plant now. Keep the soil moderately moist to insure the plants take off and grow well.
