Need to replace bouganvilla plants in large pots outdoors as the flowers were blowing into an adjacent pond. Can you suggest a cleaner evergreen shrub with less blooms but still attractive and could be pruned to maintain a somewhat rounded shape only about 12-18 inches tall?

You might try shrimp plant, gardenia, dwarf hibiscus, dwarf bottle brush or even anthuriums on your patio. Your local Home Depot garden center will have even more ideas! Enjoy your new plants!
