The Q&A Archives: blue girl holly

Question: I purchased 2 blue girl hollys. I am hoping that because I purchased two girls they will not produce berries. Am I correct and berries will not appear? Thank you.

Answer: If there is a male blue holly anywhere in the neighborhood, your Blue Girl hollies will produce berries. If you absolutely do not want berries on your hollies, plant male hollies rather than females.
