I just recently bought two Tropical Foliage as a houseplants for my living room. Every morning i wake up and every evening i get home from work i find the leaves of the plants on the floor. I'm constantly picking up leaves that are dropping off these plants. I did recently repot both of them. The leaves that fall off are sometimes spotted with brown and some of them are completely green...they look healthy. Why are all the leaves falling off these plants??

You didn't identify the plants so I don't know if they are getting enough light, too much or too little water, or if they are intolerant of drafts (from doors, heaters or air conditioners). Since you've only recently brought them home and repotted them, I suspect they are simply trying to adjust to their new homes, which might be quite different from the conditions in the garden center or greenhouse where they've been living. Give your plants a few more weeks to adjust and the should stop dropping leaves. If you can identify the plants, you can look them up to see if they like bright or low light, moist or dry soils. Providing what they crave will promote healthy new growth.

Best wishes with your new plants.
