| Vickie, They can grow without supplemental fertilizer but they'll bloom best and have better vigor with a little supplemental feeding. Use a turf type fertilizer (3-1-2 ratio of nutrients) at a rate of 1 cup per 25 square feet of soil area (about 5' X 5' around each bush) every 6 weeks from spring to late summmer.
