The Q&A Archives: trumpet lilies

Question: I have a trumpet lily and it is yellow. I have not watered it for 5 days. What is wrong with it?

Answer: The normal flowering season for asiatic lilies is spring and early summer so I think your trumpet lily has performed and is going into dormancy. For the most part, lilies prefer moist, well draining soils. Watering when the top inch of soil is dry to the touch should provide your lily with adequate moisture.
