The Q&A Archives: Deadheading

Question: When deadheading flowers like petunia's should I cut the dead ones back to where they branch off to other stems/flowers?

Answer: When deadheading petunias, pinch the stem back by a few inches; new flowering stems will be produced at the node where the flowering stem originated. Hope this makes sense!
