My lawn has been taken care of in years and I've never done gardening before so I'm not so sure if what I'm doing is right. I just covered my lawn with some seeds that are turf builder and weeds control and since the grass is very sparse I want to add some grass seed. My question is how long do I have to wait to put down the grass seeds? Will this turf builder kill the grass seed?

The turfbuilder won't kill the grass seed, but it's usually recommended that you wait 2-3 weeks before reseeding. This will give the pelleted weed and feed a chance to work it's way down to the soil surface and begin to dissolve. That way, the new grass seed will have room to germinate and send out its roots.

Best wishes with your lawn!
