I was taking care of a vacant lot of grass, but the city came and cut to area leaving diret patches. Also, the salt has killed all of the grass on the edge of my drive way and now weed and what I call wild grass has grown there. What can I do for both problems.

Thanks

I think the only solution is to reseed the bare patches in the vacant lot. You might also contact the city to explain the situation - they may be willing to come out and reseed the area so that it is green again. As for the weedy grasses at the edge of your driveway, the best way to deal with it is to dig it out, roots and all, then broadcast grass seed over the bare earth.

Best wishes with your landscape!
