so we finally bought our first house...and of course...PLANT A TOMATOS!!!!! so i have these precious little green tomatos (i bought the cherry tomatos) and i was wondering...how long does it take for them to ripen?

The answer to this depends on what variety of tomato you planted. Some tomato varieties can ripen as fast as about 60 days after planting while others take about another month longer than that. With most kinds of cherry tomatoes, I would guesstimate about 75 days. All you can do is be patient. Enjoy those tomatoes!
