Insect eggs - Knowledgebase Question

I have been over run with grasshoppers. How do I recognise eggs, hiding places. I want to keep butterflys & their eggs.

Grasshopper eggs are generally not seen on plant bur rather near the ground. Eggs of insects are fairly hard to identify but the following web sites offer some insect photos.

I am not aware of a site for photos of eggs but a Google Image search might help.
