Hi,
I planted some lillies for the first time - Mona Lisa and Matrix varities. They each bloomed for a couple of days after I transplanted them to my flower garden and then the flowers fell off. The leaves on my Mona Lisa's are all half brown, but the Matrix leaves look fine. Do I need to cut the stems off where the flowers were for these to bloom again? Where do I cut?

Sounds like some transplant shock; I would cut off the dead flower stalks and wait for your new lilies to adapt to their new homes. They may recover quickly and flower later in the season. If not, they should bloom their little heads off for you next year.

Best wishes with your new lilies!
