| Rose pruning is best done in the springtime, just as new growth is beginning. I'd wait to prune. Doing it now will sacrifice your bush's ability to produce those lovely flowers. Next spring your can prune the plant down to 18-24" above ground level. new growth will begin there, making for a fuller rose bush. Best wishes with your garden! |
