I have two climbing roses. I know one is a Don Juan but don't remember the other. Both are growing and are over 5' tall but neither has produced any flowers so far this year. What can I do to get flowers on my roses? |
Climbing roses typically send out a new sprout that will not flower until the following year. This year?s flowers are found on last year?s old wood. So, if you pruned your roses way back, or if the growth was killed over the winter months, you won't get roses this year, but you should get some next year. |
