When do I add citrus food to the orange trees? They are one year old and I've been only watering them 3 times a week. Now since the temp is in the plus 110 degrees, should I water them everyday? Thank you.

Since your tree is young, you'll need to continue watering 2-3 times a week in hottest weather. Don't water every day - you'll drive the oxygen out of the soil if it is constantly wet and that will suffocate the roots. When you water, flood the area and then allow it to dry for 2-3 days. Don't fertilize your tree this year. Next spring you can feed it with citrus food using one-third the recommended amount (because your tree is so young). Citrus grows amazingly well in Phoenix, inspite of the record temperatures.
