| I have plentiful calla lily bulbs that produce beautiful leaves every spring but don't ever bloom. Last fall I dug up all of the bulbs and stored them in paper bags til spring. Same results. When I bought the plants they were in bloom and beautiful. |
| How disappointing for you! Callas are tropical plants that need warm soils and occasional watering but do not appreciate soggy or overly moist soils. They love full sun and hot, hot temps. If your soil is low on potassium and/or phosphorus you won't see many blooms. Too much nitrogen will result in gorgeous leaves but no blooms. If you are fertilizing them, I would suggest that you stop and then remember to just water them once a week. I hope this helps. |
