The Q&A Archives: Blueberry with dry leafs

Question: I bought a blueberry from Home deport two months ago. I did not plant it on the ground. There were some fruits when I bought it. Now the leafs are dry and fall off.(fall off leaf turn to brown color but the steam is still green) The tree is still growing some new leafs. I try to move around the plant in my back yard but it seems getting worse. The soil is moist. What should I do to save it? Please help. Thank you

Answer: A lack of nitroge can cause blueberry leaves to turn red, then brown and dry. If you haven't fed your plant, feed with a half-strength dilution of water soluable fertilizer (Miracle-Gro, Peter's, etc.). Feed every 2 weeks and you should see an improvement in a few weeks.

Good luck with your blueberry!
