On squash/zucchini should I remove the dead male flowers, is this important? Same with tomatoes if a flower dies should I remove them & if so just the flower or should I cut back to a major stem? When do cucumbers usually start producing?

It isn't necessary to remove the flowers or flower petals on yur squash or tomato plants. They will fall off on their own. Cucumbers usually begin producing after about 6 weeks and will continue for 3-4 months, depending upon weather. You should see some flowers and fruits any time now.
