| On squash/zucchini should I remove the dead male flowers, is this important? Same with tomatoes if a flower dies should I remove them & if so just the flower or should I cut back to a major stem? When do cucumbers usually start producing? |
| It isn't necessary to remove the flowers or flower petals on yur squash or tomato plants. They will fall off on their own. Cucumbers usually begin producing after about 6 weeks and will continue for 3-4 months, depending upon weather. You should see some flowers and fruits any time now. Enjoy! |
